EMERGENCY BROADCAST: The infection has reached your neighborhood. All residents get indoors and lock your doors and windows. Repeat: immediately… Outside, the first scream. The basement door is still open.
Things have weight: a can ⚖2, a shotgun ⚖5, carrying your partner ⚖8. You can haul ⚖12 max. The heavier the load, the slower each run, and heavy stuff takes time to pick up.
First you get 10 seconds to scout: look into every room, but touch nothing. Memorize, then run.
You have 60 seconds to sweep the house and haul supplies, family and pets (a dog, a cat and a bird — you name them) down to the basement. Scared animals run and hide.
Every run brings a different house, different stash spots, a different curveball.
When time runs out, you must be in the basement.
Then you keep a diary: ration food and water, make choices, send people out on risky runs. Everyone has traits (Lucky, Sharpshooter, Cook…), a rare few carry an ✨Ability, and every run hides a different truth.
A radio, a walkie-talkie, a keycard, that mini-mart down the alley… small things pull you into whole storylines. Watch out for the local boss, and don't lose your family. Build a reputation and you can even start your own gang and fight Scar for the streets.
